Arborist Foreman

Job Description

Salary: $35 + /hr. (depending on experience)
 Location: 41st Ave Capitola (Projects in Santa Cruz County)
 Hours: Full time

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Estimates for Customers
• Extensive knowledge of the appropriate safety measures
• Manage a 3-4 man crew
• Pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Knowledge of tree maintenance
• Knowledge of proper techniques for pruning and shaping, knowledge of trees native to Northern California coastal- mountainous regions.
• Knowledge with pests and diseases
• No arborist license required 

Required:

• Valid California driver’s license
• 10-15 years of tree service management/leadership
• Tree care safety (Certification preferred)
• English speaker, Spanish is a plus!
• CPR/ First aid certified (Preferred)
• Excellent communication verbally and written
• Basic computer skills using MS word, Outlook, Excel
• Organized, Efficient, excellent time management skills
