Job Description

Position: Branch Manager-IAH

Location: Houston, Tx

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer, Team Worldwide

Employment Shift: Full Time, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act

Travel: Travel required

Responsibilities, not limited to:

• Revenue Growth – Long term goal is to achieve a gross revenue base averaging at least $1,000,000 of gross revenue per month of profitable business. Diversification of products (air, ocean, domestic, imports, exports and warehousing). Meet or exceed acceptable margins based on product portfolio.
• Sales Team – Assist in managing and coaching a productive sales team consisting of at least three logistics sales representatives.
• Operational Teams – Manage, train and coach an operational and customer service team. All employees need to be trained in TeamNAV, provide pro-active communication (internal & external) and be held accountable to Team’s policy and procedures. Departments need to operate as ONE cohesive unit.
• Best of Class – As a corporate owned branch, the ultimate goal is to make sure IAH operates as “best of class”.
• Work environment - Ensure a clean, properly organized, safe, healthy, and professional and Team branded facility for all personnel.
• Collections – Ensure proper accounts receivable collections procedures are adhered with a goal less than 10% open A/R greater than 90 days.
• KPI’s – Drive key performance indicators to 95 % of goal – improvement through a collaborative approach with all employees.
• Cartage – Manage and operate cartage operation for both local business and network business. Determine the best use of our resources in collaboration with Team Transportation.
• Profitability – Build and maintain branch profitability.

Skills and Qualifications, not limited to:

• Minimum freight forwarding experience 5 to 7 years
• Background in managing branch operations, including P&L responsibility
• International air and ocean background, along with domestic freight forwarding experience
• Domicile location – Proximity within the IAH Airport (Houston, TX)
• Experience working for an agency/franchise freight forwarding model
