Quinn Company — a top-performing Caterpillar dealership founded in 1919 — is hiring a Rental Branch Manager in Carson, California. In this role, you will lead a multi‐functional team, strengthen customer partnerships, and maximize business performance within your branch territory. You’ll be the face of Quinn in your region, driving growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Quinn Company sells, services, and rents a full line of construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment, as well as diesel and natural gas engines. As part of the Caterpillar network, Quinn offers the agility of a local business paired with the global strength of a Fortune 50 company.

Starting wage will depend on experience and education.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

• Drive Branch Performance: Lead a multi-functional team to maximize financial results, market share, and customer satisfaction within your branch territory.
• Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong internal partnerships and high‐level relationships with key customers.

• Manage Profitability: Take full responsibility for the branch P&L and business portfolio.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach and reinforce “value selling” strategies to both customers and internal teams.
• Analyze competitor strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the territory.
• Identify opportunities for business improvement and lead initiatives to enhance company performance.
• Promote and reinforce Quinn’s strategic plan and core values.
• Serve as the local company leader for your branch territory.
• Identify, coach, and develop high‐potential employees for future growth.
• Manage facility appearance, maintenance, and overall branch image.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‐year college or university
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Management or supervisory experience required
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‐building skills
• Ability to manage financial performance and drive operational excellence

In 1925, when Holt and Best Tractor Company merged to form Caterpillar Tractor Co. (now Caterpillar Inc.), Quinn became its dealer in the Fresno and Madera County area. Since then, we have expanded through acquisitions and grown along with the economy of California.
Now in our fourth generation of family ownership, our operations span fifteen counties throughout central and southern California, including Arizona. Quinn now has 25 locations from Salinas to Foothill Ranch with more than 1600 employees to serve our customers.
