Responsibilities : • Analysis of large datasets utilizing machine learning techniques • Analytical thinker and creative problem solver, ability to influence others with verbal and written communication • Develop presentations with clear storylines, grounded on insights and holistic business concepts and delivers clear conclusions and recommendations founded in rational business sense and own perspective and understanding of findings, stands and defends own position and rational • Pioneer new ways to generate analytical insights through a deep understanding of existing data assets • Establish effective partnerships by working closely and collaboratively with business partners and associates to ensure holistic, well designed, and integrated insights to provide pragmatic recommendations based on: • thorough analysis of internal and external business issues and environmental factors • careful assessment of available data and determination of knowledge gaps • translating data and information into trends with business • taking initiative and follow-through on insights to maximize results and knowledge base • Inform and shape the development of business strategy and tactics for key brands and customers, as well as identify and implement best practices for developing highly impactful insights • Explore new tools to gain greater efficiencies in deriving analytical insights • Utilize existing analytic tools including Python, R, Dataiku, etc. to derive insights from complex data sources • Collaborate closely with privacy and compliance to appropriately analyze patient-level data compliantly • Gain insights into consumer behavior by building expansive data models incorporating disjointed data sets • Democratize analytical developments to the broad Novo Nordisk analytics community • Identify gaps in current analytical pathways and recommend enhancements to better inform strategic and tactical decision making • Demonstrate competencies across descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics • Link analytic priorities to organizational strategy to effectively demonstrate business impact in recommendations to key stakeholders. • Work seamlessly with cross functional team members • Share learnings with all members of analytics community • Develop close and impactful relationships with data governance, patient privacy, and compliance departments • Effectively work with Data Strategy and IT to ensure data and technical resources are available for data exploration. • Develop productive working relationships with cross functional analytics teams • Develop impactful story lines to drive business decision making
Qualifications : Required : • An innate curiosity is required • A Bachelor s degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering required; a masters degree is highly preferred • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in analytics required; masters degree may satisfy years of experience requirements • Experience with statistical programming language (SQL, Python, R) required • Experience with BI tools is required (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI preferred) • Experience with IQVIA, Komodo, or Symphony and other secondary industry sources is required • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
