Tetra Tech, Inc. specializes in the recovery of communities after disasters and is currently hiring Data Analysts to assist in maintaining quality control of datasets from debris operations. The role involves data analysis, project reporting, and communication with clients to ensure accurate project information.
Responsibilities : • Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI • Ability to comprehend and apply a particular scope of practice and workflow process • Quality assurance and quality control of project data • Generating daily reports regarding project metrics, work completion, and cost • Digital file organization of project documents • Work through a field team in order to relay vital project information and accuracy • Completion of client data inquiries as requested by project management • Reading comprehension and application of federal policies to project data
Qualifications : Required : • High technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required • Must be available for short-term travel to support on-site client needs and extended deployment (i.e. 90+ days) to address client response and long-term recovery needs to following emergencies and major disasters (if candidate not local to effected area) • Ability to utilize Microsoft PowerBI or similar business analysis software • Must be able to work with a large team of individuals • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to understand and apply FEMA program policies and guidance • Intuition and forward-thinking is a plus while working to accomplish goals • Must be motivated and results-oriented • Professional self-presentation and communication • Extraordinary attention to minute detail
Preferred : • Bachelor’s degree preferred
