COLSA is a company that values its people and invites talent to join its professional family. The Autonomous Systems Data Scientist role focuses on developing data-driven solutions, performing data analysis, and assisting in the creation of data products and reports.
Responsibilities : • Performs analysis of data systems, such as Big Data systems • Combining synthetic and real datasets for algorithmic use, application of domain randomization to reduce reality gaps, and implementing multi-object tracking benchmarks • Integration and testing of camera system software projects with video imagery • Fusion of data such as RF IQ and training of hyperspectral imagery segmentation and classification • Documentation of technical work for technical and non-technical stakeholders • May perform statistical analysis and provide input for reports and dashboards • Assists in the development of data products, reports, and dashboards or other display techniques • Assists with analyzing data, algorithms, and their interaction to improve algorithm performance • May apply advanced statistics, including natural language processing and machine learning to create solutions • May assist in data modeling and data virtualization • May write code to preprocess and clean data
Qualifications : Required : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field • Proficiency in programming languages: Python and C++ • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance within six months of hire; U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred : • Previous hands-on experience with drones • Previous experience working with the US military or DoD • Working knowledge of deep learning framework, ie PyTorch, CNN, ect. • Familiarity with data analysis and presentation tools
