Senior & Lead Full Stack Developers Edinburgh (Hybrid) – £50,000 to £80,000 DOE - Permanent A scaling digital consultancy is expanding its engineering teams and hiring multiple developers from strong mid-level through to Lead level. They deliver bespoke platforms, apps and integrations for organisations that depend on technology to run their operations. Work is varied, fast, and makes it into production. If you enjoy ownership, modern tech, and working with smart people solving different problems each month, this is that kind of environment. What you’ll be doing Build scalable web applications Develop APIs and backend services Create high-quality front-end experiences Work inside Agile squads Contribute to architecture & technical decisions Review code and improve engineering standards Mentor others (Lead level) Support estimation & solution design Core Stack Frontend: React (Vue useful) Backend: Laravel / Symfony Data: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Environment: Git, CI/CD, cloud-hosted, containerisation where needed What we need Strong commercial software development background Laravel experience is key (3+ years) Solid React or Vue Experience building & consuming APIs Comfortable working with changing client requirements Able to commute to Edinburgh 2 days per week Extra value if you have AWS, Docker, Redis, Tailwind, React Native, experience mentoring. xbpsjku Level & Salary Guide Mid / Senior Engineers - typically £50–65k Lead Engineers - typically £70–80k Benefits Healthcare Pension 30 days leave + birthday off Hybrid working Clear progression plan in a scaling business EV Scheme Exposure to varied, high-impact projects If you’d like more responsibility, more variety and more influence on what gets built, apply or message for details.
