Position: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, All year round
Salary: £20,186.40

Welcome to Cherrystone Nursery , a nurturing and vibrant day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey. We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years and have recently transformed our outdoor spaces into two large, age-specific areas designed for exploration and play. With a brand new climbing frame, growing patch, wendy house, and creative art area, we inspire curiosity and creativity in every child.

Inside, our spacious rooms are thoughtfully designed to support every stage of development. Conveniently located with onsite parking and just a short walk from Stoneleigh Broadway and the station, we provide an accessible environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and education tailored to each child's individual needs in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and implement engaging early years activities that stimulate learning and development.
  • Collaborate with your team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report any health and safety concerns to management.
  • Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS: Desirable
