Nursery Room Leader

Position: Room Leader | Type: Full Time | Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Salary: £27,955.20

At Brimpton House Nursery , we’re on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to inspire creativity and excellence in our toddler room (ages 1-2 years). What You’ll Do:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's developmental stages.
• Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory frameworks.
• Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.

Are You the Right Fit?

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
• Experience in a senior position for over 6 months - Desirable
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential

Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we require flexibility in your shift patterns within these hours.
