Salary: Up to £42,500 per annum

What We Are Looking For

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Finance Manager to join our established team at our Head Office in Bromsgrove. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Senior Financial Accountant and take charge of managing and mentoring our Fostering Management Accounts Team. Your expertise will help us maintain a robust control environment and ensure the integrity of our financial accounts and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop trainee management accountants, fostering their professional growth.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with the month-end timetable.
  • Build effective relationships with operational partners by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Deliver high-quality financial commentary to the Senior Management Team.
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity in line with reconciliation policies, proactively addressing risks and issues.
  • Prepare monthly reports on balance sheet movements.
  • Ensure a strong control environment by collaborating with the business to uphold policies and procedures.
  • Support tax and statutory reporting to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
About You
  • A relevant professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • A confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in maintaining a robust financial control environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Previous leadership or people development experience.
