Farm Equipment Operator

Wright's Dairy Farm is seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Equipment Operator to support daily dairy operations. This is an equipment-focused role requiring daily operation of powered farm machinery in close proximity to livestock.

This is not a general farm labor position - equipment operation is required.

• Operate skid steer loaders and attachments (bucket, manure fork, bedding spreader, pallet forks)
• Move feed, bedding, manure, and bulk materials
• Perform barn scraping and manure removal
• Conduct daily equipment safety inspections
• Support livestock movement and feeding operations
• Assist with barn sanitation and facility upkeep
• Operate snow removal equipment during winter months
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized farm areas

• Minimum 1 year experience operating skid steer or similar heavy equipment required
• Comfortable working around large livestock
• Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently
• Must be 18+ to operate farm equipment

• Early morning (approx. 3:30 AM) or afternoon (approx. 2:30 PM) shifts
• Weekend and holiday work required
• Full-time, year-round position
• Schedule varies by season and operational needs

This role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, exposure to livestock and heavy equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working on uneven surfaces.
