Summary: Join Meta's Data Center Engineering and Construction (DEC) team as an Engineering Program Manager, Technical Operations. Our data centers are the backbone of our innovative services and growing infrastructure, essential to our mission of building community and connecting people globally. This role targets complex technical intersections, facilitating design and decision-making to advance projects from ideation through to detailed execution. Your technical expertise will focus on electrical, mechanical, and connectivity components, collaborating across the Infrastructure ecosystem to drive results. We seek a self-motivated leader with a proactive mindset and strong business acumen. Essential Responsibilities: Oversee intricate, cross-functional systems designs and R&D projects from concept to successful completion. Develop clear problem statements and actionable milestone schedules leading to implementation. Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Construction teams, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and scope. Provide active program management throughout analysis, design, development, and testing phases. Interpret technical drawings, challenging engineers' inputs across various technical departments to formulate cohesive executable packages. Effectively manage dependencies and handoffs, optimizing schedules for project efficiency. Initiate and drive process improvements across multiple teams and functions. Conduct reviews to innovate business processes, enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness. Foster continuous productivity improvements. Identify potential risks and collaborate with subject matter experts to devise solutions. Lead and deliver training programs for internal and external partners. Communicate progress and align decisions with leadership across various organizations. Willingness to travel to offices, vendors, and data center sites as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Project Management. Proven track record in driving results through complex problems involving multiple stakeholders. Experience managing large-scale critical infrastructure, Research and Development, or data center projects. Proficient in building relationships and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills. Comprehensive understanding of engineering details and implications of changes across disciplines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing design and construction projects related to data centers, server hardware, or network systems. Specialty knowledge in design, construction, network systems, hardware systems, capacity management, and contracting. Adept at swiftly learning and adapting to new skill sets. Global infrastructure design experience is a plus. Experience in tooling or product development. Public Compensation: $160,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
