Join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina as a Picker/Packer and play a key role in our fulfillment center. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and then securely packing them for shipment. This fast-paced role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. You'll be part of a dedicated logistics operation, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Your attention to detail and ability to meet productivity targets are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Select products from warehouse locations according to order pick lists.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily performance metrics for picking and packing.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product codes.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of workplace Safety practices.
