Join our growing team in San Antonio, Texas, as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility. We are looking for a diligent and organized individual who can accurately process shipments, maintain inventory records, and ensure timely dispatch of orders. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying incoming inventory, inspecting for damage, and preparing outgoing shipments with precision. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are crucial. Your attention to detail will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage and report any discrepancies or issues immediately.
- Accurately record inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders according to shipping schedules and customer requirements.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Ensure correct utilization of all required PPE .
- This role involves significant Lifting , often exceeding 50 lbs, requiring physical stamina.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse operations through proactive task completion.
