Join our dynamic team at the Distribution Center in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Distribution Center Associate. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our facility, handling a variety of tasks related to the movement and storage of goods. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can contribute to our Logistics operations with precision and a strong commitment to Safety. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, and packing, ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively and orders are fulfilled promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock items appropriately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation and Safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of Logistics and inventory management.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Commitment to following Safety regulations and using PPE.
