We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This critical role ensures the accurate and timely flow of goods into and out of our warehouse, forming a cornerstone of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. A strong focus on Safety and meticulous attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight, verifying packing slips against orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels and arrange for carrier pickups.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Ensure the dock area and warehouse remain clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is required.
- Proficiency with shipping software and logistics platforms.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Capability to handle frequent Lifting (up to 70 lbs).
- Must wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety in all operations.
