We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will include picking products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, verifying item accuracy, and preparing them for the next stage of the logistics process. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse stock according to pick lists.
- Scan items and update inventory systems as orders are fulfilled.
- Inspect items for quality and report any damages.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your work area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving standing, walking, and occasional Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to wear all required PPE, including safety shoes.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
