We are seeking a motivated Material Handler for our Miami, Florida operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse, supporting our extensive logistics network. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the physical ability to handle demanding tasks. You will work closely with a team of warehouse professionals to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of goods. We provide comprehensive training and expect strict adherence to safety protocols, including the correct use of all issued PPE. The ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to a productive team environment is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill orders.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
