Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct inventory cycle counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and meet productivity goals.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is highly preferred. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required. A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE is essential. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems are beneficial. Must be reliable and able to work flexible hours if needed.
