We are hiring energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas! This role is key to our efficient logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipping. You will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, confirming their details, and packaging them securely for transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick required items from designated warehouse locations based on order details.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Inspect all items for damage before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping cartons, applying necessary labels.
- Utilize scanning devices or pick lists to track inventory movements.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any inventory discrepancies, product damage, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse duties is preferred. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and be capable of frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. A strong understanding and adherence to workplace safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Familiarity with logistics and inventory systems is a plus. Punctuality and a positive, team-player attitude are essential.
