We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods through our distribution center. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, picking orders, packing items, and preparing them for outgoing Logistics. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of Safety, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a successful Logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stage products for shipment and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic understanding of Logistics operations.
- Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
