In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company and carrier standards. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are key to the success of our outbound Logistics operations. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickups. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to procedures are essential. We are looking for reliable individuals who can manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of accuracy in a dynamic warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Verify that outgoing orders match shipping manifests and customer orders.
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring no damage.
- Weigh and measure shipments accurately.
- Schedule and coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, carriers, and other departments.
- Ensure all outbound shipments comply with Logistics requirements and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in basic math and measurement.
- Capability for moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting .
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Understanding of shipping and receiving Logistics .
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
