Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our Sacramento, California warehouse operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through meticulous record-keeping, regular cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations. Your efforts will directly impact our operational efficiency, reduce stockouts, and minimize inventory write-offs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and Logistics principles. You must be committed to upholding high standards of accuracy and Safety. We provide a safe working environment and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to support your daily tasks, which may include some physical exertion and Lifting. This position is crucial for optimizing stock levels, ensuring product availability, and supporting smooth warehouse operations. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate inventory data across the board. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and adhere to inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues such as overstock or low stock.
  • Assist with receiving and shipping processes to ensure data integrity.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain best practices.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
