As a Material Handler, you will be crucial in managing the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. This role demands a strong focus on Safety, meticulous attention to detail, and the physical capability to handle a variety of materials. You will be required to use appropriate PPE and follow all Safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and maneuvering of items. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stock and organize materials efficiently within the warehouse.
- Assist in preparing materials for shipping or production.
- Maintain an orderly and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including regular Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail within Logistics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
