Become an essential part of our operations as an Order Picker in Kansas City, Missouri! We are seeking energetic individuals to accurately and efficiently select items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is central to our Logistics success, directly impacting customer satisfaction. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse using an order sheet or scanning device to locate and retrieve products. Precision, speed, and a commitment to Safety are key. You will be expected to use the appropriate PPE and follow all established protocols to prevent accidents. The job involves considerable physical activity, including walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely when required.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment is desirable.
- Strong physical stamina for walking, standing, bending, and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of Safety and wearing required PPE.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility in a Logistics setting.
