Our Los Angeles, California distribution center is looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is critical for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fast-paced, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling.
- Label packages with shipping information and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed, such as hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company policies, including those regarding lifting requirements and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics department.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of lifting guidelines.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
