Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve products and materials.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring correct placement and securing of goods.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts and location verification.
- Follow all established safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Support overall logistics functions, ensuring efficient material flow.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold company policies regarding material handling and safety.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to lifting guidelines.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Good communication skills.
