Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in San Francisco, California? Our bustling logistics facility is searching for a skilled individual to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials. This position plays a key role in our daily warehouse operations, requiring precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely, ensuring cargo is secure.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment, reporting any issues or necessary maintenance.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all established safety procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification (if required by local regulations).
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting and adhering to lifting guidelines.
