We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco, California. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics network, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping. - Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming inventory.
- Accurately put-away stock into designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and preparing customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Packing orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Loading outgoing shipments onto trucks and trailers.
- Operating various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification and training provided).
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with company standards.
- Participating in regular inventory counts and cycle counting procedures.
- Strictly adhering to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with other distribution center tasks as directed by supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of PPE.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
