Über

Wild Iris Integrative Massage is currently looking for a kind, team-oriented massage therapist for therapeutic and medical massage in a well established and centrally located practice. We are currently needing temporary coverage but this can transition to permanent employment. We value a strong commitment to our local community and in developing strong connections with our clients and one another.
One year of experience preferred, but not a must. Contracts with Blue Cross, Aetna, and VA a plus but not necessary. We will assist the right person in professional growth
\*proficient in SOAP charting\*\*
\*excellent teamwork attitude\*\*
Vacation coverage with regular hours available
*\*Must send cover letter, resume and three professional references*
*Wage: E*mployee position, DOE, minimum start $50/treatment hour
Qualifications
- Alaska State Massage Therapy License
- Proficiency in patient assessment and acute pain management
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience in pain management techniques
- Ability to provide a range of modalities including Myofascial Release, deep tissue massage, Swedish and any others that may add to our team are welcome.
-Varying modalities welcomed and encouraged including CST and/or LMD, Ashiatsu, etc.
- Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 21 per week
