Spine, Ortho, Neuro or Pain Management Physician Assistant
Precision Pain Care is an interventional pain management practice in the Nashville metro city of Smyrna TN. We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with considerable experience in spine, neurosurgery, orthopedics or pain management. We have many treatment options available to our patients that include major joint injections, interventional spine procedures, Radio Frequency Ablations, Spinal Cord Stimulators, Botox injections and other therapies.
We are seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant who, in collaboration with the Physician/Medical Director, assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within the mid-level's scope of practice. Duties include: taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures, establishing a diagnosis and provide care and management for patients with chronic and acute pain. Medication management is also a significant component of this position.
Requirements:
* -TN license
* -DEA license with experience in prescribing controlled substances
* *- minimum 5-7 years' experience as a Physician Assistant preferably in pain management, spine, neurosurgery or orthopedics- team player*
* *- must be comfortable working with challenging patients*
* *Compensation range: $126,000- $138,000 based upon experience for 5 work days per week*
