We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately managing and tracking our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, updating inventory records, and ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of our stock levels. This position is essential for the efficient operation of our logistics chain and requires a sharp, analytical mind and a commitment to precision. Maintaining a high level of accuracy directly impacts our ability to fulfill orders and manage stock effectively. We prioritize a secure working environment, emphasizing adherence to all safety protocols and the mandatory use of PPE . While not as physically demanding as other roles, some lifting may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate data entry.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory storage locations.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE in all relevant areas.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role. Proficiency with inventory management software and databases (WMS experience preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to organize and manage data effectively. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics . Knowledge of proper safety procedures and the importance of PPE . Ability to perform light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) as needed.
