We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, using a handheld scanner or other picking equipment. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You will be responsible for moving throughout the warehouse, locating specified products, and preparing them for shipment. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to all company policies and procedures. This is a physically demanding role that involves regular lifting and movement. Attention to adherence to PPE guidelines is paramount for employee well-being. We are committed to excellence in logistics and maintaining the highest standards of safety .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Utilize a handheld scanner to track picked items and update inventory.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and utilize required PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Meet or exceed picking performance targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements. Understanding of basic logistics principles. Must be reliable and punctual.
