You will be responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring that orders reach our customers on time and in excellent condition. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately for all outgoing orders.
- Package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage outgoing shipments for various carriers.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Operate shipping software and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Track shipments and update order statuses in the system.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding any shipping discrepancies or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist with receiving duties as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the shipping department.
