Über
Our client is currently seeking a
Structural Design Engineer.
Responsibilities: Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codes and standards (i.e. IBC, IEBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, UFC). Participate in field surveys and document existing conditions. Communicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplines. Review and evaluate existing building structural systems. Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Write technical reports. Review construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiries. Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.S.CE), Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.AE), or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.S.AE), or equivalent, with coursework specialized towards structural engineering Registered EIT or in pursuit of EIT license Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good organizational and team skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to be challenged and develop new skills Preferred:
Master's Degree Experience with AutoCAD and Revit Experience with analysis software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, and/or RAM Concept Pay Range:
$75 - 90K, depending on experience
