The Sales Assistant should be a highly organized and detail-oriented team member. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of the Sales Department by managing orders, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the sales staff. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions Accurately and efficiently enter new orders into the system.
Monitor customer portals and process orders accordingly.
Collaborate with the IT department to resolve any EDI-related issues.
Develop expertise in specific customers' needs and specifications.
Coordinate order fulfillment with the sales team, production, and shipping departments.
Process and send passings and invoices to customers.
Work with the accounting team to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Handle claims and troubleshoot order-related issues.
Support the Sales team in day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency.
Process delivered orders and maintain accurate records.
Work closely with logistics to book and dispatch orders.
Professionally handle incoming calls and emails.
Process and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders.
Assist with collections as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Team player with a high sense of responsibility and accountability.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Driver's license may be required.
