*The Role*
We are looking for a hands‑on IT Systems & Software Implementation Specialist to be our in‑house IT expert. You will be the only person in this department, responsible for upgrading our IT systems and implementing time‑saving software across the business – from finance and administration through to project management and site delivery.
*Key Responsibilities *
* Maintain and improve our IT infrastructure (PCs/laptops, network, Wi‑Fi, printers, Microsoft 365).
* Review current processes across finance, procurement, project delivery and site operations, and identify opportunities for digital improvement.
* Select, implement and configure business software (e.g. job/project management, scheduling, mobile timesheets, document management).
* Integrate systems where possible (e.g. project/job management with accounting).
* Provide day‑to‑day IT support to office and site teams.
* Train staff on new systems and create simple user guides.
* Help set up useful reports and dashboards to support better project control and decision‑making.
*About You *
* Experience in a hands‑on IT role (IT Support, Systems Administrator, Implementation Specialist or similar).
* Proven experience implementing or configuring business software and improving processes.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
* Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and basic networking.
* Practical, solutions‑focused mindset and comfortable working independently as the sole IT specialist.
* Clear communicator, able to support and train non‑technical users at all levels.
*Desirable *
* Experience in construction or field service environments.
* Experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and integrations.
* Understanding of data, reporting and dashboards.
