In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your accuracy and speed are vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and promptly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing warehouse equipment safely and adhering to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace. Your role is key to maintaining customer satisfaction through accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets or use scanning devices to locate and retrieve specified items.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Maintain clean and orderly aisles and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to supervision.
- Meet established productivity targets while maintaining high quality standards.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network through precise and timely order picking.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Basic math and reading comprehension skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE. Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Must be reliable and punctual. This role demands a strong focus on safety and accuracy in all aspects of logistics and order fulfillment.
