As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and pick lists, ensuring that each order is complete and accurate before it is passed on for packing. Your role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. We prioritize a safe working environment, providing comprehensive training on safety procedures, proper lifting techniques, and the mandatory use of PPE. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and capable of performing consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory and confirm picks.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting methods and the use of required PPE.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory control tasks as needed.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervision.
- Work cooperatively with team members to achieve order fulfillment targets.
- Understand and execute all standard logistics procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability of performing manual lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use all designated PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
