Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment, verifying contents.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Follow all logistics procedures and documentation requirements.
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory management to ensure data integrity.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
- Uphold all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification to operate forklifts is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in manual lifting, capable of handling up to 60 pounds repeatedly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and mandatory PPE usage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
