Are you a skilled and certified Reach Truck Operator? Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin warehouse is looking for an experienced operator to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise safely and efficiently. Your expertise in material handling is crucial for maintaining organized inventory levels and supporting the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. You will play a key part in ensuring that products are stored correctly and easily accessible for order fulfillment. We maintain a high standard for workplace safety, and all operators must strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The physical demands of the job include significant forklift operation and occasional lifting. Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and store inventory.
- Load and unload materials from racking systems.
- Accurately place and retrieve products in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform routine checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain organized and efficient storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and warehouse operating procedures.
- Support the shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and warehouse regulations.
