Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our supply chain operations. You'll work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management to resolve inventory discrepancies and implement best practices. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will be expected to adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.   • Accurately record inventory movements and changes.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Generate inventory reports for management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Assist with warehouse organization and layout optimization.
  • Handle receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in inventory management or a related field. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), are highly desirable. We emphasize a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members are trained in proper material handling techniques and the correct use of PPE.
