Join our growing logistics team in San Antonio, Texas as an Order Picker! This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items from inventory based on provided lists or scanning equipment. Your accuracy and efficiency directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our supply chain. We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safety. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment where reliability and productivity are highly valued. Comprehensive training on warehouse procedures and safety protocols, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those looking to build a career in the logistics and warehousing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure the correct orders are fulfilled.
- Package picked items securely for transport.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
- Achieve daily productivity goals.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand product labels and picking instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
