Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse machinery and equipment (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, palletizers).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failure.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues within the warehouse.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations relevant to warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
