Our distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility, from receiving to shipping. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, order fulfillment, and shipping preparation. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and deadlines.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers (certification may be required or provided).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE, to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Support various logistics functions as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
