You will be responsible for locating specific items within our warehouse, meticulously checking them for quality, and securely packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Perform quality checks on all items to ensure they meet standards.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, using correct dunnage and labeling.
- Verify order contents against packing slips to ensure complete and accurate shipments.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory, damaged products, or observed safety hazards to supervision immediately.
- Achieve established productivity metrics for picking and packing operations.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve overall warehouse operational goals.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse setting is highly desirable. Must be able to stand, walk, and perform tasks involving manual dexterity for extended periods. Physical requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. A thorough understanding and consistent application of safety procedures, including the use of PPE, are mandatory. Knowledge of logistics principles is a plus. Reliability and teamwork are essential qualities.
