We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is multifaceted and crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will contribute to maintaining an organized and safe work environment, ensuring that products are handled with care and accuracy. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. We are committed to fostering a safe workplace, and all employees are expected to follow established Safety procedures and guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy in counts and product identification.
- Stock shelves and storage locations, maintaining an organized warehouse layout.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for loading, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all company Safety regulations and policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
