We are seeking an Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our valued customers. This role involves navigating the warehouse, accurately locating and retrieving specified items, and preparing them for the next stage of the logistics process. Success in this position requires attention to detail, a good sense of urgency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work with scanning technology and follow established procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order tickets or RF scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to prevent errors.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking productivity targets.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.
- Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely if applicable.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
