Join our bustling warehouse in Dallas, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic individuals to become key members of our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position requires speed, precision, and a strong focus on maintaining order accuracy. You will work with various products, utilizing scanning equipment and following detailed instructions to ensure that our customers receive the correct items in good condition. A commitment to workplace Safety and efficient workflow is essential. This is a physically demanding role that offers a great opportunity to be part of a high-volume distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order specifications.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking or consolidating inventory.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to handle moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
