Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to shipping. You'll be involved in various tasks, including organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and loading/unloading trucks. A strong commitment to Safety and efficiency is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and put away incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely and label them correctly.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and dollies.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and use designated PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics and inventory control.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
